VISUALIZING YELP'S ACADEMIC DATASET

This design was made for my research project for Creighton's Honors Day. I was required to complete a project that pertained to my majors in computer science and graphic design. The first thing that came to mind was data visualizations and infographics. Utilizing Yelp's Academic dataset, I wanted to see if I could verify my hypotheses. For this project, I self-taught myself R and JSON. With my findings, I took most into illustrator and created charts that would make the information easy to absorb for the viewer and visually appealing. This was printed on a 3x4 ft. poster that was displayed and presented at Creighton.
