LATE NIGHT RECESS: SKATE NIGHT

For Creighton’s Late Night Recess Skate Night, the client wanted the design to be reminiscent of the 80s with bright contrasting colors. To translate that theme into the materials, I utilized an electric color scheme and familiar imagery used in retro posters like gradients and grids. In order to properly illustrate the pair of roller skates in the image, I researched popular styles of past roller skates to understand their structure. Along with this social media version, a poster was made for the event.
