AGAPE ROOTS
As an intern for Dr. Barbara Dilly, I helped with the ground work for Agape Roots. This is an open access journal that presents ethnographic studies of systemic food justice practices through academic theory and community relevance. Knowing that I was going to complete undergraduate school soon, I decided it would be best to create the website through Squarespace so that future students would be able to edit the site. Collaborating with the other interns, we also created a logo that would represent the local aspect(with the outline of Nebraska) and the roots(using the image of a radish). The website is currently up at www.agaperoots.com.
